What You Need To Create This Look:
Freshly washed hair, sopping wet! *a spray bottle is useful if your hair tends to drink quickly*
Your fave moisturizer
Wide tooth comb
Magnetic rollers or sprial rollers
Hooded dryer *optional*
Time & patiance
For me magnetic rollers with the clips are the easiest to use when working with natural hair. They come in all different sizes depending on how tight you want your curls to come out. Because our hair has a tendency to want to curl up on it's own the matching clip covers the hair in a way that prevents it from doing just that.
Work with one section at a time so you don't overwhelm yourself. Part hair neatly and using your fave moisturizer take each section and moisturize your sopping wet hair WELL. Part for each roller until your hold head is done. If you have a hooded dryer (the option of air drying is sometimes a lengthy process) & depending on how quickly your hair dries... *side note: natural hair can take up to 24 hours to completely dry, even though it feels dry it may not be COMPLETELY dry* You may want to sit under the dryer for at least an hour then check one roller toward the back to see if your hair is dry. Once your hair is dry enough that it easily detaches from the roller you are ready to rock! Take all your rollers out, and finger separate your curls to get that full look. If you want to keep the look for a couple days try satin covered sponge rollers or pin curls. Catch The Weekend Wave by rocking your bouncy Spring Time Roller Set Curls!
