definitely will start a conversation and movement.
Actress Tasha Smith hosted the event. Tasha added her personal flavor with positive words and humor.
The event seems to be geared toward African American women appreciating the beauty they have inside and outside. That's not to say that women of all colors are not beautiful. But this group in particular needs a lift in this area. That statement was made that no matter if you wear your hair with a weave, natural or whatever you are beautiful.There was also a panel of celebrities with a wide range of positive thoughts for African American people. The celebrities ranged from Lailah Hathaway to various DJs of radio. Encouraging people to feed their minds on positive things instead of negative things in pop culture.
